Preface

It’s been a few months since I’ve truly focused on posting Blind Reaction videos for sure. Writing reviews for Fifteen Minutes of Fame is definitely the foundational part of what we do but it’s not the only thing that we do! So, this month, I am going to try to make more of an effort to diversify what is published.

The Boys, by Porpoise Spit

Porpoise Spit are a dynamic rock band out of Melbourne. Their music can go from a true rock sound to sometimes grunge, surf rock, and other genres. In their music video for The Boys, they show their more humorous side as they cleverly jump from scene to scene.

People Person by BlackLiq and Dub Sonata featuring Slug

Virginia-based MC, Black Liq is an up and coming hip hop artist, devoted to his music, having just released the album Much Given, Much Tested. Unapologetically honest, he’s unafraid to explore topics of internal conflict. In this music video for People Person, he is joined by Dub Sonata and Slug.

Virginia Side by Mahto and the Loose Balloons

Mahto and the Loose Balloons are an indie rock band out of Johnson City, Tennessee that embrace a vintage sound that blends eloquently with 2025. In their song, Virginia Side, they take us on a ride through the tri-state area of East Tennessee, East Kentucky, and Western Virginia. This music video really resonated with me because I used to work in Johnson City. Seeing the area they drove through was a nice trip down memory lane for me.
