Cash Monroe

~ About the Artist ~
Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, but now residing on the island of Maui, Hawaii, Cash Monroe is a passionate alt-pop performer with a big heart and a big voice. Channeling themes of resilience, self-reliance, and rising above the ashes (both figuratively and literally), Monroe is a survivor of the tragic Lahaina Wildfire.
In August of 2025, while performing at The House of Blues for the Springboard Music Festival in New Orleans, Monroe debuted her latest release, the single, RESURGENCE.
Tragically, RESURGENCE uses fire as a metaphor and was written 8 months before Monroe lost everything in the infamous wildfire that devastated so many in the area.

Musically, RESURGENCE is a big song with a strong vocal performance from Monroe. A ballad that primarily encompasses piano with ambient guitars filling the empty sound space. This is the perfect backdrop for Monroe to take command of a one of a kind vocal performance.
Tonally, Monroe’s voice is quite similar to artists like Tones and I and Adele, as she has a very distinct quality to her sound and it is backed by quite a bit of power. The distinction and power of her voice is amplified by the emotional connection she has to the music.
~ Final Thoughts ~
Aside from RESURGENCE, Monroe has one more release, 2023′ DIG DEEPER. It is similar to RESURGENCE in that it is slow-to-mid tempo, though it does pick up with a driving percussion at the chorus.
Cash Monroe, to date, has only two releases but each are so captivating and inspiring, they are enough to easily have my attention. As we roll into 2026, Monroe should be expected to answer a lot of those underlying questions about her potential. She is expected to tour both the East and West Coast of the States AND she is also planning on releasing her first album! I think hearing her first multi-track project will be elemental in this artist establishing her identity. Even with just two releases, she has set a tone for what that might be. An album may be just what she needs to turn that tone into a foundation. I’m looking forward to hearing more from this artist; I would love to see her perform if she comes through Nashville. I am certainly looking forward to hearing this album.
Cash Monroe is not an artist to miss out on. Go press play!
