“Good vibes.” This is a phrase that has flowed in and out of pop culture for generations. “Good vibrations.” I knew what this meant a long time before I truly knew what it meant. Vibrations are communications between our bodies and the environments that surround it. Our bodies react to vibrations in a multitude of ways; making us feel uncomfortable or safe, they can pull us in or push us away.

We are all sensitive to vibrations, yet some of us are more aware than others. Susan Moss, aka MoonDreams Music, is very aware of her attraction to good vibrations.

Moss began releasing music with the album Carousel Dreams (this album is mentioned in her bio but not available on anywhere I could see on social media). Her first published release was Night Song which released in 2002. Night Song is a sweet, gentle lullaby performed by Moss and supported by a rhodes keyboard with a flute and synths accompanying.

MoonDreams Music appears to release in phases, or sequences of vibrations. Centered by Dream concepts, she has featured work surrounding Carousel Dreams, Diamond Dreams, and now, Moon Dreams. Her music is a driven analysis of nocturnal and aquatic obsession, a space and time that is very much a pulling vibration for Moss.

With several thousand monthly listeners across social media platforms, songs spanning from hundreds of thousands of plays to her most popular single, Diamond Dreams, which has earned more than one million streams, MoonDreams Music has been one of the best kept secrets of the independent music community. Her thematic alt-pop releases will feature influences from genres like electronic and techno, cultural influences like Caribbean music, and also draws influence from decades of music, dating back to the 1980’s.

~ Summer Suite ~

Summer Suite is the first single released by MoonDreams Music in 2026. Releasing on February 6th, 2026, it heavily influenced by summer vibes, featuring block percussion, a bright, crunchy guitar, a vocal with saturated reverb, and lyrics heavily inspired by summer, aquatic, and beach influence. There’s even a pleasant sample of waves.

Summer Suite runs at about 4 minutes and has a similar style to her prior release, Tropical Breeze, which released in 2018. Though similar, Summer Suite does tend to lean more in the direction of an alt or classic rock style of music. It is positive energy, a breath of fresh, salty air, and yes. It is good vibes from start to finish.

~ Final Thoughts ~

I really like Summer Suite. One, musically, it is a strong record. The music is performed well, and Moss’ vocals are strong and performed very well. I love the positivity of the music. The world can often feel dark, sad, and bleak. Especially today, with so much negativity headlining the media and social media in particular, we can often find ourselves drinking up positive energy as quickly as we can find it. MoonDreams Music doesn’t ever seem to concern herself with the negative. She is a very bright, positive, and enlightened human being. So much, to the point that it can sometimes feel intimidating to those of us who know a thing or two about wallowing around in the things that depress us. Maybe she has bad days like the rest of us, but she composes herself very well publicly, so that we would never know.

MoonDreams Music’s positivity extends to her drive to inspire and lift the independent music community. In addition to her own music, she is also a substantially successful playlist curator on Spotify, with many playlists gaining several follows and generating multiple streams every month.

When we accept so much positive energy, so many of the good vibrations, we feel compelled to share it and let it out. Moss is exhibit A. Through her music, through her promotion of independent musicians, and through her outreach on social media. Moss has found her beacon, her light in MoonDreams Music. She is using it to guide the rest of us from the darkness.

Go press play.
