About the Song

Born to Love You is a pop rock/classic rock song released by Taylor D on March 26, 2025. With a runtime of just under three and a half minutes, it features Taylor D on vocals and guitar, backed by a full rock ensemble.

About the Music

Born to Love You opens with a layered, distorted heavy guitar riff that is guaranteed to be a crowd motivator. This is supported by the full band. After the intro, the riff drops out and Taylor D’s vocals feature over percussion in the first verse.

As the chorus begins, Taylor D sings over the full support of the band with the opening riff being the instrumental feature. Her vocals stay home throughout the chorus, highlighting the complex and energetic atmosphere provided by the lead guitar.

The second verse begins as the first does with added elements from the band, highlighting the song’s progressive build throughout. This leads into the second chorus which, like the second verse, is similar to the first but with built elements into it,

The bridge is instrumental featuring a very ornamental guitar solo that does not disappoint. As the bridge concludes, Born to Love You hits a melodic climax with it’s final performance of the chorus and tags out in the end.

Final Thoughts

The thing I really love about “Born to Love You,” is Taylor D’s vocals stay in this lower register and really drive a lyrical priority to the story of this song. In it, she doesn’t shy away from sex appeal and attraction but she is sure to note that catching her eye and keeping her trust isn’t some easy feat. Her affection must be earned and the work isn’t done, once there. As it shouldn’t be.

Born to Love You is yet another example of Taylor D’s ability to offer up dynamic and diverse performances for all kinds of fans to enjoy. She is just as capable of captivating an audience with a full rock performance just as she can if she were to go unplugged. She is committed to perfecting her performances and ready to take the next step in her career. As an independent artist, she doesn’t have much more to prove to show she would be a hot mainstream ticket for any audience.
