I don’t know what I was expecting the first time I saw Jed Harrelson open his mouth and sing. I do know I wasn’t expecting what I heard. The man is made of just as much soul as the human body holds water. The blues are in his molecular being. His atoms are made of protons, neutrons, electrons, and soul power. I swear, it is woven into the fabric of his very existence.
Time in the Dark

Don’t believe me? Just check out his latest single, Time in the Dark, which dropped yesterday. Releasing on November 2nd, it runs at two minutes and forty seconds. It features Harrelson on vocals and guitar accompanied by bass, drums, and horns.
Time in the Dark has all the feels. It has the grit, the dirty, the pretty, and all other ingredients to confirm that it’s a song that came from the soul of a man.
Harrelson’s talent has been earning him recognition for years, with growing audiences at his shows on tour, his streaming numbers that are in the tens of thousands, sometimes as many as a hundred thousand, per month, and songs that stick with listeners long after they hear them.
Time in the Dark is another great song to add to a catalog of great songs. Make sure to stream it. Make sure to check out his tour schedule to see if he’s making a stop in your area (Nashville, he is back at 3rd and Lindsley on December 2nd).
Go press play!
