~ About the Song ~

Bite the Apple is the 4th single release for Lexie Modica this year, 5th overall. Similar to The Bitter End, Bite the Apple has an undertone of indie folk clashing with some of the coffee shop alt rock of the 90’s; Jewel, Lisa Loeb, Sheryl Crow, and well, Fiona Apple. A mid-tempo to up-tempo acoustic jam. It’s lyrically positive and features a very pleasant cadence as Modica takes us through their powerful words.

The evidence of their upbringing is right there as the former opera singer hits every note with precision, while being supported by strong chord structures, bright percussion, and a variety of quality musicians.
