This isn’t the first time I’ve listened to a track by Jepz and just felt like I wanted to let go of the trivial thoughts that plague myself and so many more people on a daily basis. The Danish Hip-Hop, R&B artist has a knack for dialing into anxieties, stresses, and internal struggles that people feel in every day life. From Medicate to Good Day, Jepz uses few resources to channel a voice for every day people. Similar to Mac Miller, Macklemore, and good Jack Harlow (see Jackman), Jepz’s style of hybrid rap and singing almost give the vibe that he shifts from performance to stop and talk to his audience; as if it’s vital that he reaches them in that moment.
Jepz is an indie artist with roughly 2 years of releases in his catalog. He’s collaborated with AiramFM, a FMOF favorite and his partner of well more than a decade. As mentioned, I think Jepz has a distinct talent for relatability. He’s able to transcribe the lives we live, the struggles we face, and write songs that vibe with his audience. He doesn’t need a complicated beat, he doesn’t need musical frills. In fact, audiences looking to let go for just a little while would find an atmosphere with Jepz’s music to be a very welcome place.
Feel

Feel is the latest release by Danish Indie artist, Jepz. Releasing on April 30th, it runs just over 3 minutes. Featuring a simple beat, sample, and minimal programming and instrumentation, Feel is all about Jepz: his vocals, his lyrics, and the vibe he’s come to share with his audience.
“Feel is about existential thoughts and that feeling of chasing something without really knowing if it will change anything once you get there.” – Jepz
Man, did he dial in for this one. Feel asks all the questions we ask: “if I work hard today, will it matter if I die.” “If I pray, is there somebody listening.” “If I wake up, will this be the last time I wake up.” Questions we all ask.

Feel isn’t a hype piece. It feels like those nights we smoke a good joint, sit at a piano bench, and stumble across a melody that just strikes a chord with our emotions. He sings it no differently than if he were in a quiet room by himself, writing the song. In fact, the song seems like it is being performed at its conception – in a good way. There’s an authenticity about that feeling that few artists have. Jepz has it.
Feel is the first single released by Jepz in 2026, and it’s the first release he’s had in more than a year since March 2025’s release of Rollin’ Slidin’ Glidin’. Jepz is establishing a reputation for being meticulous when it comes to his releases, as each time, the wait seems to be worth it. Now, having a handful of releases that have all proved to be strong performances, I would love to see an EP or an LP come from him. I think a body of work from this artist would be something special, particularly considering the relatable nature of his music. At any rate, Feel is one to definitely add to a “vibes” playlist as this is a groove anyone can get into.
Go press play!
