Pretty as Vegas by Michelle Renae
Pretty as Vegas is the latest single by Nashville indie artist Michelle Renae. This is her third single, not including the sped up re-release of her last release, Maybe You’re in Love.
Michelle Renae’s releases are just getting better and better. I really thought Maybe You’re in Love was already at the “radio ready” level, but Pretty as Vegas is, without a doubt, there. The composition and vocal performance is excellent and the production quality of this release is sensational.

Faster Now by Silvis
Faster Now is the new single by the indie rock band, Silvis. It is their second release of 2026, after May’s release of Vacant. It runs at around three and a half minutes.
Silva is a band I’ve been following since their 2025 album, A Tendency to Seek Distraction. This band has a really solid 00’s indie rock sound paired with today’s pop rock sound. They are comparable to Djo, Wallows, and other similar bands.
Faster Now, is a synth-pop, rock fusion song that has a nice mid-tempo vibe that has an incredible, anthemic chorus. Its bright tone is infectious. Between this song and Vacant, their releases since last year’s album are showing a significant progression. I’m really excited about this band.
Tourniquet by Alaina May
Tourniquet is the third single by emerging indie artist Alaina May. After Casual and The Dog, May is showing that she is an artist to be taken seriously as a part of the next wave of indie/alt folk artists.
Tourniquet might be the best of May’s songs that have been released so far, and considering how Casual has more than 350,000 streams since releasing in May, that’s really saying something.
This gentle, acoustic-driven ballad is sweet, sincere, and intimate. May’s vocal performance is compelling and it is highlighted by the excellent production quality of the song.

What Are We Running From by Paula Fong
What are we Running From is the latest single by indie artist, Paula Fong. Fong is an emerging roots artist from the west coast. This is her 4th release in 2026.
What are we Running From has an old sound, it is rich and organic, and balanced with a diversity of talented instrumental performances. Fong’s vocal performance was made for country music.
