Katie is the debut single by independent singer/songwriter, Maggie McCraney. It runs at around 4 minutes and 15 seconds and officially released today, November 6th, through Warfare Music Group.

McCraney, who is from New York, started recording an album in Nashville, August of 2025. After months of work, she started playing shows and writer’s nights in Nashville and surrounding areas.

She also started work on a social media campaign to promote her music, which is how I stumbled across her music. I was impressed then, I’m impressed with the finished product, and I can’t wait for this album!

Katie, a song that has alt pop energy mixed with a dash of country pop, is streaming on all platforms everywhere!
