Artemis II
For the first time in more than 50 years, man are going back to the moon. The historic launch of Artemis II took place April 1st, and is currently on day 4 of a 10-day roundtrip to Earth’s most familiar satellite. This launch is historic for a number of reasons.
First, this will officially mark the longest distance human beings have ever been from planet Earth, as the projected recorded distance the space shuttle will be 252,799 miles from its home base. That is 4,000 miles further than the previous record held by the infamous Apollo 13 crew.
Second, this officially brings Gen Z and Gen Alpha to the forefront of NASA’s space exploration. The data that will be collected and learned from this will be information that can be discussed and learned in classrooms worldwide, inspiring young scientists and future pilots, engineers, and explorers for years to come.
Finally, Artemis II will set the stage for future missions as we plan to land astronauts on the lunar surface on the upcoming Artemis IV mission and eventually build a satellite base on the Moon.
Needless to say, this is very exciting. I want to send my absolute best wishes to this heroic crew and finally, to the flat Earth crowd, please don’t hurt yourself running away from your computers to avoid the wonderfully recorded evidence brought to you by the NASA crew:

Elly Kace, The Seventh Gate and Release Shows

Earlier this month, Chicago- based indie artist, Elly Kace, released her 3rd official album, The Seventh Gate. This amazing album comes after the summer announcement by Kace, and a very special 3-part review by Fifteen Minutes of Fame which featured an interview with Kace, an audio review, and 3 written articles.
Kace shines in this sensational exhibition of unique talent, artistry, and pioneering her blend of pop, classical, and jazz music. The Seventh Gate is available to stream on all major streaming platforms and is for sale at bandcamp. Make sure you listen to this great album and don’t forget to check out the reviews!
Kace has also been bringing The Seventh Gate to life in a live setting with her band, as she is performing a number of shows to promote her release. These performances are just as unique as the artist herself as they’re hosted in non-traditional venues, they are immersive and inclusive performances, and they are selling out! Her next shows are this weekend in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York! If you’re in the New England area, definitely check out a show!

Fifteen Minutes in the Necco Chamber

This month, Daniel Grigson and I officially launched our podcast, Fifteen Minutes in the Necco Chamber, and we have posted our first two episodes! I strongly encourage everyone to give us a follow and check our first publications: in episode 1, Daniel and I feature artists referred by their fans for the February FMOF Valentine’s Day campaign. In episode 2, I sit down with singer, songwriter, and producer, myah, as we discuss her latest album, i don’t know what i’m feeling, how she makes her music videos, her professional work as a producer, and much more!
Make sure to follow Fifteen Minutes in the Necco Chamber as our next episode is going to be one for the ages!!! I don’t want to spoil anything but, let’s just say our next guest is too good to be true. One might say it’s the most Unbelievably True third episode. I have SAID TOO MUCH!!!

What’s in Store for April
As we turn the corner into April, I look forward to bringing new reviews, and more exciting news in the world of independent music! There will be a somewhat lazy start to the month, as both my wife and I are taking a much needed “staycation,” for the first half of the month, but I will be putting out content! There will be some reviews, and hopefully a new podcast episode in the coming weeks!
For everyone who celebrates the Chirstian holiday, Easter, I hope this year ignites your spiritual journeys and you are fulfilled by the teachings of church. For the rest of us, I hope we all have a peaceful weekend and are surrounded by our loved ones!
I want to make a request for those interested to be on the lookout this coming Friday for my FIRST release since Evaporate released in January. I will officially be releasing my cover of Bobby McFerrin’s Grammy Award winning song, “Don’t Worry Be Happy,” though mine will officially appear as …don’t worry …be happy. It will be releasing on April 10th, a day before my wife’s birthday and exactly one year after we took our vacation to Montana, a trip that ended up being one of the best of my life and a true inspiration for the concluding sessions for my album. If you have a moment, please take some time to give it a listen.
That is all I have. Go press play!
